Biography
"Homer John Coppock was born July 21, 1881, second son of Isaac Test and Poebe Ann Walton Coppock into the small Friends Community of Winona, Ohio. He...graduated from Damascus Friensd Academy in 1900. He and his brother, Ralph, worked in the Potteries at Sebring, Ohio, to get money to go to Earlham College from which H. J. C. [Homer J. Coppock] graduated in 1904. At Earlham he met Mabel Cary from Saratoga County, N.Y., and they married at the Cary farm near Clark's Corner, N.Y. on June 21, 1906."
