Biography

In 2019, Anne Houtman became the first female president of Earlham. A convinced Friend and biologist by training, she is also Earlham’s first president with a degree from an institution outside the United States, a doctorate from Oxford University. She came to Earlham after serving as academic dean or provost at several other institutions.
