Scope and Contents
This collection reflects his activities in Quaker organizations in the 1960s and 1970s. Coffin was active in the Quaker Men organization affiliated with Friends United Meeting, serving a term as its president. He also served as president of the board of White's Institute in Wabash, Indiana. These papers reflect his activities with Quaker Men, Indiana Yearly Meeting of Friends, and Friends United Meeting. Two folders that he had labeled "Scrapbook" reflect his political, social, and religious views and include clippings, correspondence, and notes for sermons and speeches.
