The collection consists of historical materials collected by Barbara Wildman Perkins (1938-2002) on the Wildman family and their large farm, Avalon, near Selma, Clark County, Ohio. A scrapbook contains photographs and captions about the farm as it appeared in 1955, along with a history of the Wildman family. Of particular interest are an 1855 letter from Friends Boarding School (now Earlham College); an 1819 report of the Committee on Indian Concerns of Ohio Yearly Meeting of Friends; and an 1823 epistle from the Ohio Yearly Meeting of Women Friends.
