Scope and Contents Job Hadley (1816-1895) was a prominent Conservative Friend of Amo, Hendricks County, Ind. This reminiscence focuses on his memories of slavery and work among the freedmen during and after the Civil War. Also included is a short account of the work of his wife, Tacy (Burgess) Hadley (1817-1899). Transferred from Harlow Lindley Collection.
