Biographical or Historical Information
Phebe (Weeks) Dodge (1792-1832) was born a member of Amawalk Monthly Meeting, Westchester County, New York, the daugher of Richard and Susanna Weeks. In 1814 she married contrary to discipline Joseph C. Dodge (1793-1845), a member of New York Monthly Meeting. After their marriage, they lived in Westchester County before returning to New York City in 1826. They sided with the Hicksites during the Separation and were disowned by the Orthodox.
