Diary, genealogical materials, and a letter of Anna Maxfield Gove, a Friend of Seabrook, New Hampshire. The letter concerns revisions in the Discipline of New England Yearly Meeting of Friends. The diary, 1862-1873, includes spiritual reflections, family news, and accounts of Friends meetings for business and worship. Anna (Maxfield) Gove (1841-1915), daughter of Clark N. and Salome (Cooke) Maxfield, was born in Casco, Maine. In 1857 she married Edward L. Gove (1826-1891) of Seabrook, New Hampshire, where she spent the rest of her life. Both families were members of the Gurneyite New England Yearly Meeting.
