Scope and Contents
Dr. James E. Connett (1862-1929) served as a Quaker missionary at Douglas, Alaska, between 1890 and 1895. This collection consists of clippings, notebooks, photographs, and diaries reflecting Connett's life as well as a register for the Friends Mission School at Douglas, 1889-1892. Copies of the Alaska Friend have been transferred to FSG. Gift of Mary Lou Coppock, 1999.
