Elwood Johnson Collection
Elwood O. Johnson (1900-1988) was an Iowa Quaker and Farm Bureau official. This collection consists of letters and reports concerning his work with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in China in 1946, along with detailed accounts of his abnegations and impressions of Chinese life. Typescript; gift of Wilmer Cooper, 1984.
Embree-Thorn Collection
The Embree-Thorn Collection consist of letters, essays, wills, and deeds from two Quaker families in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Ohio, mainly between 1774 and 1860. They reflect especially the westward movement, antislavery activities, and business transactions of Friends.

Emily Weeks Collection
Emily Weeks was a Hicksite Friend of Mechanicsburg, Henry County, Ind. The collection consists of material relating to Spiceland Academy, a Friends School in Henry County that she attended, and to Clarkson Davis (1833-1883) and his wife, Hannah Ellen (Brown) Davis (1841-1898), teachers at Spiceland. It includes photographs, academy programs, letters to and from Clarkson and Hannah Davis, and clippings. Gift of Mrs. M.L. Crisler, 1993.
