Scope and Contents Gulielma (Hunnicutt) Jessup (1854-1928) was an Orthodox Friend, teacher, and farm wife, and an 1880 Earlham graduate. The collection consists of an essay, "The Old Homestead," written ca. 1925, about the home of her parents, John T. and Jane (Charles) Hunnicutt, in Wayne County, Ind. Scope and Contents Nancy Parker McDowell is the wife of James McDowell, professor of psychology at Earlham from 1951 to 1980. The collection consists of copies of letters written while she was teaching at the Friends School at Ramallah, Palestine, 1939-1940, and poems written for Earlham events from the 1950s to to the 1980s. Scope and Contents John H. Mills (1843-1923) was a Quaker farmer who spent his life in the vicinity of Mooresville, Ind. The collection consists of his discharge certificate from the 121st Indiana Infantry, 1865. Gift of White Lick Monthly Meeting, 1993.

Scope and Contents Joseph E. Moore (1868- ) was a native of Richmond, Ind. This autobiographical fragment deals with the family of his parents, the Moore and Bain families, and his relationship with Earlham president Joseph J. Mills.

Scope and Contents Memorabilia of Lucretia (Coffin) Mott (1793-1880), Quaker minister, feminist, and reformer of Philadelphia. The collection consists of three photographs of Mott, an inscription written in 1878, and a letter written by Mott in 1846.
