Starr (1837-1894) of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, with extensive information on family members, Twelfth Street Meeting, and visitors from Indiana and Illinois. The letter is unsigned, but references to relatives imply that the author is a member of the Parvin family.

Morrison (born 1897) attended Earlham College 1915-1917. He was the son of Earlham professor Edwin Morrison and his wife Mary (Miles) Morrison. Louis A. Morrison went to France under the AFSC and returned to the United States in 1919.

Samuel Stephenson, New Petersburgh, Highland County, Ohio, to R. Boak, Lebanon, Ohio, als, July 19, 1845. Reference to his first "little Quaker wife" and Highland County reference implies that this is the Samuel Stephenson who married Mary Overman in Highland County, Dec. 2, 1834.

Clinton Martindale, Hagerstown, Indiana, to son George Martindale, San Francisco, California, Aug 15, 1904, als, re: dangers of typhoid fever. On letterhead of Newcomb House, Hagerstown, Ind. Clinton Martindale (1847-1921) was a farmer who lived near Hagerstown, Wayne County, Indiana.
