The collection consists of correspondence of the family of Edward and Emma (Walmsley) Foster of Bristol, Pennsylvania, and Charles and Susanna (Brown) Leeds of Burlington, New Jersey, 1871-1932. It reflects the lives of Primitive Friends in Pennsylvania and New York and Wilburite/Conservative Friends in Ohio, both extremely conservative in doctrine.
