Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a lengthy memoir of William Parry (1810-1894), a Hicksite businessman and farmer of Richmond, Ind., written by his daughter Mary (Parry) Thorpe; and a scrapbook with clippings and notations concerning the Parry family and other Quakers in the Richmond area. Photocopies of original lent by Martha Wood, 2009.
