John W. Oliver Jr. Papers
Scope and Contents
The John W. Oliver, Jr. collection consists primarily of papers generated by John during his employment as Associate Professor of History at Malone College in Canton, Ohio from 1966 to 1998. These papers reflect his work on various committees at the college, in organizations in the community, in professional organizations, and also include his personal correspondence and copies of his numerous lectures and published articles. In his effort to write a history of Malone College, research material was reproduced from the Malone archives and this material makes up the majority of files in this collection dated prior to 1966.
