Scope and Contents
The Papers of Paul Turner include correspondence, records for the Friends World Committee for Consultation as well as the Wayne County Farm Bureau Cooperative, genealogical materials, Bible salesman records, and notes and correspondence from DePauw and Indiana Universities. There is also a box of the school materials of Marie Turner.

Biographical or Historical Information
Paul O. Turner (1910-2001) was a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He graduated from DePauw University in 1936 and Indiana University in 1940. He worked for the Indiana Farm Bureau and the American Friends Service Committee as well as teaching accounting at Earlham College. His wife Marie (Thompson) Turner (1907-2002) was a native of Goshen, Indiana. She also served on the AFSC staff. Together, the Turners were active in American Quaker affairs. They lived in Richmond, Indiana, from 1980 until their deaths.
