Biographical or Historical Information

Beverly (Winn) Yount (1921-1977) was the wife of Charles Yount and daughter of Ralph and Vera (Adkins) Winn. Through her father, she was descended from the Hunt families, early settlers in Boston Township, Wayne County, Indiana, whose genealogy she traced in her 1956 book, The Pioneering Spirit Lives On. She was well known as a local historian and genealogist of Richmond and Wayne County, Indiana.
