William M. Cox Papers
Scope and Contents
This small collection consists of a ledger that he used for household accounts, along with a few miscellaneous documents. The most interesting feature of the volume is its listing of the soldiers in the regiment, which includes personal information, ages, and birthplaces. Unfortunately, some pages have been lost, making the roster incomplete. A few deaths of family members and neighbors, and a few diary-like entries, such as an outbreak of the measles in the family, are also included.
