Scope and Contents

Nicholas Easton (d.1674) was one of the first converts to Quakerism in New England and several times governor of Rhode Island. The collection consists of extracts from a diary and other papers concerning him made by Augustine Jones of Providence, Rhode Island, about 1900. Gift of Caroline Jones Woodman.
