Parker Family Collection
The Parker Family Collection consists of a Bible record for the family of Anthony Parker, born 1775, and his wife Pheba (Stout) Parker. A grandson, William Parker, born in 1828, married Rebecca Ashby in Randolph County, Indiana, in 1848. Also included are a few Parker family photographs. Purchase, 2008.
Parker Family Papers
John Peele Parker (1823-1896) and his wife Miriam Jane (Hill) Parker (1831-1906) were Orthodox Friends who lived in Richmond and Rush County, Indiana. This collection consists of reminiscent family letters written mainly in 1923 as well as genealogy of an 1850 letter to Miriam Jane Hill from her sister Mary Ann Hill. Gift of Louis and Mary Ruth (Brown) Jones, 2002.
Parry Family Collection
The collection consists of a lengthy memoir of William Parry (1810-1894), a Hicksite businessman and farmer of Richmond, Ind., written by his daughter Mary (Parry) Thorpe; and a scrapbook with clippings and notations concerning the Parry family and other Quakers in the Richmond area. Parvin and Cornelia Bond Collection
Parvin Wright Bond (1880-1966) was a long-time Quaker pastor and a student at Earlham College from 1907 to 1909. Cornelia (Collins) Bond (1897-1998) was his second wife and was active in Indiana Quaker affairs. The collection consists of a notebook from his pastorate in the West Elkton, Ohio, Friends Meeting from 1947 to 1952 and a notebook and corresondence of Corenelia Bond concerning Whitewater Quarterly Meeting. Transferred from Richmond First Friends, 1996.
