Scope and Contents The Leland K. and Kathaleen Johnson Carter Collection consists of correspondence, diaries, photographs, and genealogical material documenting the lives of a number of Quaker families in North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, and Kansas in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Scope and Contents The Sumner A. Mills Papers is a small but important collection of materials relating to a leading Indiana Friend of the twentieth century. It is especially useful for the reconstruction work of the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) in France in 1918-1919.
