Doan Family Papers
The Doan Family Papers consist of correspondence, clippings, and reminiscent material of the family of Abel and Phebe (Lindley) Doan of Westfield, Indiana. It is rich in material relating to Earlham College and to Quaker life and activities in the first half of the twentieth century.
Eli and Mahalah Jay Collection
The Eli and Mahalah Jay collection contains material regarding their lives and families from roughly the 1840s to the early 1900s. The major strength of the collection is its correspondence section including Jay family correspondence, Ballard correspondence, and Mahalah Jay's Missionary correspondence. The collection also includes journals, addresses, compositions, and essays that express the Jays opinions on many topics. This is a rich collection for nineteenth century Quakerism.
Elkanah Beard Papers
The Elkanah Beard Papers consist of two diaries kept by Elkanah Beard, a prominent Gurneyite Quaker minister of Winchester, Indiana, from 1868 to 1875 and 1877 to 1878. They reflect his participation in the missionary and revival movement that swept Gurneyite meetings in the Midwest in the 1870s.

Esther Fouts Jordan Collection
Esther Jordan was an enthusiastic genealogist for many years and collected extensive material on her own and her husband's ancestry. Her organization by family groups and correspondents has been retained. Although most of the collection is genealogical it does include clippings and other items relating to the Jordan's' religious and civic activities.
Esther Griffin White Papers
Esther Griffin White's papers include correspondence, copies of writing, files pertaining to the Little Paper, and clippings reflecting her varied interests and career.
Harlow Lindley Collection
Harold N. Tollefson Papers
Correspondence and research materials of Harold N. Tollefson while he was clerk of the Indiana Yearly Meeting Restructuring Committee; research materials that he gathered on Quaker academies in Indiana; inventories of records in the Friends United Meeting; and lists of Quaker books donated to the Earlham School of Religion and in the library at Quaker Hill.
Henley-Trueblood Collection
The Henley-Trueblood Collection consists of photographs, daguerrotypes, and other images of nineteenth century Quakers largely in Washington and Rush Counties, IN. Most are related to Edwin P. Trueblood (1861-1951), long-time Earlham faculty member, and his wife Pennina (Henley) Trueblood (1863-1943). Many of the photographs are identified.
